Molina Waterfall Park

The Molina Waterfall Park is a natural park located in Fumane (province of Verona), in the hamlet of Molina. It is famous for its waterfalls. The park is located in the Vaccarole area and covers about 80,000 m².

The formation of this area occurred in the Cenozoic era (25-30 million years ago) with the emergence of rocks that were thus exposed to the action of atmospheric agents that shaped them. The park area includes the last stretch of the Molina valley with the confluence of the Cesara valley and the Scalucce stream.

This territory is particular for the great presence of water that has led to the formation of numerous waterfalls and streams that flow next to the rocks. The stream flows along the gorge at times slow, forming small green lakes, and at times more vigorously to form suggestive and noisy waterfalls.

The itineraries

Inside the Waterfall Park, there are three routes suitable for both families and more adventurous explorers. The paths are distinguished by three different colors:

green: 1.2 km long and can be covered in 30 minutes;
red: 2.3 km long and can be covered in 1 hour;
black: 3.6 km long and can be covered in 2 hours.

All routes can be walked and are well marked and excellently maintained. The park is open every day from April to September and on holidays from October to March.
